Around here, we like games. A lot. They're great to play, and they make great gifts. But you don't have to break the bank to give someone a game. There are plenty of affordable games. So today, in honor of Black Friday, here's the stocking stuffer edition of our holiday gift guide.
Tabletop games make really great gifts for college students. They're fun, and they help even the most introverted among us (guilty as charged) socialize. There are a lot of dedicated gamers in college, and we will talk about options for them. But for now, let's just talk about games for college students who may just be casual gamers.
Most of us have those friends who are just starting to get into gaming, or at least attend game nights and have fun despite not really knowing what they're doing. A good board game is the perfect gift for them, a gateway to more game nights. It's a nice way to start their own collection of games.
Today we're talking about the best games to give as a gift to families. My primary criteria for family-friendly games are that they're easy to learn and interesting for adults as well as older kids.
